Help Victims of the Recent Tornadoes in Illinois

We will be joining other DC alumni organizations at a happy hour fundraiser this Friday

Join us this Friday, November 22 at 6pm at the Union Pub on Capitol Hill to support the victims of recent extreme weather in Central Illinois.  The Bradley University Washington DC Alumni Chapter has organized a fundraiser, "DC Cares 4 Illinois."  The Chicago-themed pub has graciously agreed to donate 10% of all revenue from Friday's food and beverage sales back to the Central Illinois Red Cross.

Bradley alumni have joined forces with other Illinois alumni chapters and networks in DC beyond the DC Illini, including:  Eureka College, Illinois State University, Northwestern, and Illinois Wesleyan.  The pub has invited the DC Bears Club to attend - a DC group that gathers regularly to support the Chicago Bears.  Their ties to Illinois are strong.  Please invite your network of friends, family, co-workers and neighbors to attend this meaningful event.  Feel free to spread the word via social media using #DCCares4IL.

Through this effort we hope to inspire other Illinois networks to gather and raise money throughout the coming months.  Let's show the world how our Illinois networks in the nation's capital can come together and lift the hopes and spirits of others.

Bradley University has a web page dedicated to communicating information on other ways you can help the tornado victims.
